TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. Scope of Work
All services will be performed as described in the approved estimate or quote. Any additional work requested by the client outside the agreed scope will require a separate quote and written approval before commencement.

  2. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars and valid for thirty (30) days from the date of the quote. A $150 service-call fee applies for diagnostic visits and is waived if the client proceeds with the quoted work. Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law.

  3. Deposits
For projects exceeding $1,000, a deposit of thirty to fifty percent (30–50 %) of the total contract price may be required prior to scheduling work.

  4. Warranty
Labor is warranted for twelve (12) months from the date of completion, covering workmanship defects only. Materials are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. This warranty is void if repairs, alterations, or tampering are performed by anyone other than B&S Electric LLC.

  5. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, overloading circuits, acts of nature, or issues unrelated to our work.

  6. Access & Scheduling
The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. Missed appointments or inability to access the site may incur a rescheduling fee.

  7. Permits & Compliance
Where applicable, permits and inspections will be obtained in accordance with local regulations. Costs for permits may be billed separately unless specifically included in the quote.

  8. Liability
While all reasonable care will be taken, B&S Electric LLC is not responsible for incidental damages (e.g., wall patching or paint touch-ups) that may occur during necessary access to electrical components, unless otherwise stated in writing.

  9. Cancellation Policy
    a. Binding Contract / Non-Refundable Payments. Once a written contract or work authorization is executed by both parties, all deposits and payments made become non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
    b. Notice of Cancellation. Any request to cancel must be delivered in writing—by email to services@bselectricfl.com or by certified mail—and is effective only upon receipt by B&S Electric LLC.
    c. Recovery of Costs. In addition to retaining all payments received, B&S Electric LLC may recover any remaining balance for labor, materials, permits, mobilization, subcontractors, or other expenses incurred or irrevocably committed prior to receipt of the cancellation notice, including reasonable attorney’s fees and collection costs if enforcement is required.
    d. Force Majeure. Cancellations resulting from events beyond either party’s reasonable control (including natural disasters, governmental actions, or similar force-majeure events) do not relieve the client of payment obligations for work performed or materials procured before such event.
    e. No Waiver. The failure of B&S Electric LLC to enforce any provision of this Cancellation Policy shall not constitute a waiver of its rights to enforce the same or any other provision later.

  10. Change Orders
Any change to the approved scope of work must be documented in a written Change Order, signed by both parties, and may affect pricing and scheduling.

  11. Site Preparation & Safety
The client is responsible for ensuring the work area is free of hazards (including pets, valuables, or unsafe conditions) and that utilities necessary for the work (e.g., electricity, water) are available.

  12. Insurance & Licensing
B&S Electric LLC maintains all required state and local licenses (Florida EC License #EC13015340) and carries general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Proof of coverage is available upon request.

  13. Limit of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, B&S Electric LLC’s total liability for any claim arising from this agreement is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

  14. Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless B&S Electric LLC, its employees, and subcontractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the client’s negligence or failure to follow applicable codes and instructions.

  15. Dispute Resolution / Governing Law
Any disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, they will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and brought in the appropriate court located in Broward County, Florida.

  16. Collection Costs & Attorney’s Fees
If it becomes necessary to collect unpaid amounts, the client agrees to pay all reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection expenses.

  17. Photographs & Marketing (optional)
The client grants B&S Electric LLC permission to photograph completed work for documentation and marketing purposes, provided that no personally identifying details of the client or property are disclosed.

  18. Digital Communications
The client consents to receive communications (including invoices, updates, and notices) via email, text message, or other electronic means.

  19. Acceptance
By accepting a quote, signing a contract, or authorizing work to commence, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
